“I have spoken to the Sports Minister in regard to the project. He appears to have a very positive attitude towards it, however I believe a firsthand meeting with the parties involved will provide the Minister with an insight into how important this project is to Collie and the South West.”

“I am hopeful the Minister will be able to visit before the end of the year, so the Collie Motorsports Group can continue work on the project,” said Mr Holt.

Mr Holt said that he was aware that this project was promised during the last election campaign and he is keen to see the project come to fruition.
