More housing choice available in Kununurra, Grylls

People looking to buy and build in Kununurra would have access to more housing styles and choices thanks to the State Government’s latest land releases at the Coolibah and Lakeside estates.
Landcorp have released two duplex lots in stage six of Lakeside Park Estate, two mixed use lots and two grouped housing lots in Coolibah Estate. All are available to purchasers.
Lands Minister Brendon Grylls said these latest land releases in Kununurra delivered on a State Government promise to increase housing choice in the North-West.
“These lots build on the current range of lots available in town and enables homebuyers to select a lot to suit their lifestyle,” Mr Grylls said.
“This release of lots is the latest in a program of land releases to give people the opportunity to buy affordable land for their homes and businesses in Kununurra.
“The two duplex lots at Lakeside Park are sized from 762sqm and priced from $199,500.
“The two grouped housing lots at Coolibah Estate are sized 790sqm to 2,453sqm and priced from $210,000 and two mixed use lots range from 1,377sqm to 1,500sqm and priced from $378,000.
“A range of single residential and duplex lots are already available in both estates.
“To meet demand anticipated from the coming Ord-East Kimberley Expansion project, the State Government will continue to unlock land supply to enable greater investment in the town and support the long term future for Kununurra.
“We plan to release more residential lots in stage 7A of Lakeside Park later this year.”
