Extra tickets go on sale this week to two international netball matches to be held before the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in October.
Sport and Recreation Minister Terry Waldron said a limited number of restricted viewing seats would go on sale at 10am on Thursday.
“The first ticket allocation to this netball fixture sold out within days and I’m sure the public will want to act quickly to buy these extra tickets,” Mr Waldron said.
Fifth ranked Malawi play sixth ranked South Africa prior to the Holden Netball Test Series fixture between the Australian Diamonds and New Zealand Silver Ferns on October 23 at the Burswood Dome.
The Diamonds versus Silver Ferns game will be the first time the two teams have played each other since the thrilling gold medal match in Singapore, when the Diamonds sealed a World Championship title with a one goal win in extra time.
Perth will also host the International Super Series (ISS) hockey with teams from Australia, India, Pakistan, Malaysia and New Zealand at the Perth Hockey Stadium in Bentley from October 20-23.
The CHOGM 2011 international netball and hockey tournaments are jointly funded by the Western Australian and Australian governments.
