Member for the Agricultural Region, Mia Davies today welcomed the latest round of funding under the Royalties for Regions’ Regional Grants Scheme, which included nearly a million dollars for 14 projects in the Wheatbelt region.

Ms Davies said these projects will provide a significant boost to Wheatbelt communities by investing in infrastructure and services that help attract investment and create local jobs.

Royalties for Regions is about local decision making, giving communities the power to decide what is important for their town and build on local priority projects,” Ms Davies said.

“Local governments, community groups and individuals know better than anyone else what infrastructure, services and projects their town needs.
