Halls Creek ready for new housing, Duncan

Halls Creek is set to gain much needed additional housing through the expanded development of residential lots on Bridge Street.
Member for Mining and Pastoral Region, the Hon Wendy Duncan MLC, said that the 2.46ha site on Bridge Street has the potential to accommodate an extra 45 homes in Halls Creek.
“This residential development will provide much needed housing for the growing community of Halls Creek,” said Ms Duncan.
There are many wonderful people, projects and places within Halls Creek, and Ms Duncan believes that the additional capacity for residential housing was another good news story for residents.
“Meeting accommodation requirements will show residents that the Liberal-National Government is committed to the continued growth, longevity and success of Halls Creek as one of our remotest towns.”
Civil works for the site were expected to be completed by the end of December this year, which will allow LandCorp to be in a position to release land for public sale early next year.
