More Broome land for homebuyers and investors, Grylls

Homebuyers and investors are set to benefit from the release of a variety of different residential home sites at LandCorp’s Waranyjarri Estate at Broome North.
 
Lands Minister Brendon Grylls today announced the release next week of 11 medium density and grouped housing sites, as well as 39 single residential lots, giving purchasers wider choice.
 
Mr Grylls said the 50 lots across a range of configurations and competitive prices could deliver at least 74 dwellings for Broome.
 
“The State Government wants to encourage investment in the town and offer more choice for families, singles and downsizers to build their own home,” he said.
 
The Minister said the 39 single residential lots to be released next week provided an excellent opportunity for first homebuyers to enter the Broome property market.
 
Competitively priced from $175,000, the home sites range from 540sqm to 876sqm.
 
Subject to conditions and availability, successful purchasers may be eligible for up to $24,845 in rebates, comprising an $18,595 Federal Government Housing Affordability Fund payment and a landscaping rebate from LandCorp.
 
“LandCorp is also seeking submissions from parties wanting to buy multiple adjoining lots which can capitalise on a higher development potential,” Mr Grylls said.
