Nationals’ member for the South West Region Hon. Colin Holt has called on local constituents to contact his office if they want to see a school bus servicing Manypeaks Primary School in the near future.
Mr Holt has been approached by a number of families who want to see a new School Bus Service for the eastern suburbs of Albany, supporting students attending Manypeaks Primary.
Mr Holt is willing to petition the State Government in an attempt to establish a new bus route which services Manypeaks Primary School, but has called on interested families to contact him. Please contact Mr Holt’s office on 98 417 144 or

“Manypeaks is a great school with a fantastic sense of community. With a new bus service more families will make the choice to school at Manypeaks which will be great for the school and community”
“Primary schools in Albany are getting increasingly full and with many families now calling the Lower King and Kalgan areas home, sending their children to Manypeaks opposed to Albany is a viable option”
“The establishment of a bus route from these suburbs to Manypeaks will increase this trend of families making the choice to attend Manypeaks and it is important it is supported,” said Mr Holt.
With the likely start of the Grange Resources Southdown Project in the near future Mr Holt believes a service will only continue to have greater demand placed on it in the future.
“The Southdown Project is good for Albany and is going to bring more families into the region especially Manypeaks so we need to plan for the future to accommodate this change”
“A new bus route is definitely a step in the right direction,” said Mr Holt.
