Country artists are encouraged to submit work, Davies

Country Arts WA is currently seeking submissions for the 2011 Shows on the Go, a regional touring program which is greatly encouraged by Member for the Agricultural Region, Mia Davies.
The tour offers producers of professional performing arts to include their productions in the touring Menu and visit regional communities.
Mia Davies said promoting arts and culture throughout regional communities is extremely important and the tour is a great opportunity for involvement.
“I strongly recommend that all regional artists embrace this fantastic opportunity to display their passion and inspiration for performing arts,” said Ms Davies.
“Arts are a significant and often underestimated part in the establishment and development of regional communities.
Ms Davies said we can expect to see some exceptional talent from our regional artists for the upcoming tour.
“It will be great to see the creativity, imagination and enthusiasm of all artists involved,” she said.
Country Arts WA is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to bring together regional communities by embracing art and culture.
Entries close on April 30 and the cost is $55 for those who submit their work prior to April 22 and $65 thereafter.
