Fuel card not running out of petrol, Holt

Nationals’ member for the South West Region Hon. Colin Holt has told concerned pensioners across the South West and country WA not to worry as the Country Age Pensioner Fuel Card will continue.
“The aged pensioner fuel card is an important policy and a number of people have been contacting my office in recent times as they are concerned it is not continuing.”
“I can absolutely confirm that the Country Aged Pensioner Fuel card will continue and those who are eligible should be applying for their new fuel cards now.”
The aged pensioner fuel card was a National Party promise at the last state election and has been delivered through the Royalties for Regions policy.
Forward budget estimates show that $20 million has been allocated for the ongoing roll out of this popular initiative over the coming three years.
All current fuel card recipients should automatically receive their new fuel cards after June 30th if they remain eligible.
