Nationals’ MPs, supporters and locals gathered for a social evening in Broome at the Pinctada Cable Beach Resort on Tuesday 19 January 2010.
Leader of the Nationals WA and Minister for Regional Development and Lands, Brendon Grylls; Member for the Mining and Pastoral Region, Wendy Duncan; and Member for North West, Vincent Catania joined a good crowd of locals for drinks and a discussion of regional issues.
Nationals’ candidate for the Senate and Broome local John McCourt spoke during the evening about his experiences as a State Candidate and why WA needs a strong voice in Federal Parliament.
Attendees also had the opportunity to meet The Nationals’ candidate for the Federal Seat of Durack Lynne Craigie, a Newman local who is already travelling around the north of the State campaigning.
