About Mia
Raised on the family farm in the central Wheatbelt on the outskirts of Wyalkatchem, Mia attended the local primary school and completed her education as a boarder at Methodist Ladies' College in Perth.
After completing a Bachelor of Media and Marketing degree at Murdoch University in 1999, she travelled and worked in the United Kingdom for 20 months.
On her return to WA, Mia commenced work with Leader of The Nationals WA as a Research Office and then Policy Adviser. She has worked in various roles within the organisation, taking on the positions of Policy Director, State Director and Campaign Director (federal election 2007, state election 2008).
Mia has also worked in the private sector, as an Executive Officer for the North West at the Chamber of Minerals and Energy WA and as a marketing and public relations consultant.
She has a particular interest in providing improved access to quality mental health services in the regions, as well as the delivery of quality education opportunities for everyone living in the regions.
Her connection with the electorate remains strong through family and friends who live and work in the region.

The Agricultural Region includes the new Legislative Assembly electorates of Central Wheatbelt, Geraldton, Moore and Wagin.
