“National Youth Week is Australia’s largest annual celebration of young people aged 12 to 25 and provides a platform for them to get involved in their communities and assist in generating ideas, decision-making and showcasing their skills and talents,” Mr Grills said.

“I am delighted to see young people in the Mining and Pastoral getting involved – the diversity of these projects are a wonderful testament to their range of skills and interests.

“I encourage all young people to support their peers by getting involved or attending these events.”

National Youth Week WA runs from April 8 to 17.
