Nick Fardell is the Senate candidate for The Nationals WA at the upcoming Federal Election.
Inspired by The Nationals' landmark Royalties for Regions program introduced in 2008 and the dramatic impact it had accelerating the State's much-needed regional development, Nick felt compelled to join the team that has country people at heart. He is 100 per cent focused on fighting to bring a better deal to WA from a federal perspective.
Born in Broken Hill, NSW Nick started his working life in the resources industry before moving to Western Australia where he worked around the state in various roles. He eventually found his home in the Goldfields and has lived there for the past 20 years.
Nick worked his way up from an apprentice electrician to owning and managing his own business, employing more than 130 staff with offices and workshops across Australia. During this time Nick temporarily relocated to Queensland to focus on his business before returning to Kalgoorlie with his wife Lisa and son Darcy.
Nick is campaigning on issues affecting all West Australians, including unfair GST distributions, the impacts of meth addiction, addressing the Federal spend on WA healthcare and increasing the fuel tax levy that is drastically underpaid to Western Australia.
Nick will bring a unique and powerful voice to the Senate for all Western Australians.
