Nationals WA MP and candidate for the seat of Geraldton, Paul Brown said nominations for the prestigious awards were now open and encouraged all members of the community to nominate an outstanding young person.
“The WA Youth Awards recognises the achievements of young people aged 12 to 25 from across WA for their contributions to the community, as well as outstanding youth groups and organisations that server and support the State’s young people,” Mr Brown said.
“In Geraldton there are many young people who work tirelessly to facilitate change, assist others and make a positive difference in their communities.
“It is important that they are recognised for their contribution to their communities, particularly in regional WA.”
