Contact Paul Brown
Paul and his family live in Geraldton where Paul was born. As a Geraldton local, Paul has a genuine understanding of the issues, along with the many opportunities that Geraldton has.
Health, education and employment are key priorities for Paul. As a small business owner Paul understands the significant role that small business has in providing employment opportunities in regional WA.
Having access to quality education and training opportunities is vital in ensuring that our current and future employees are competitive in a tight jobs market.
The expansion of the Geraldton Regional Hospital (GRH) is a key priority for Paul. The GRH services Geraldton and the wider catchment areas of the Midwest and Gascoyne and expansion is critical to meet current and growing demand. Paul and The Nationals WA have committed $115million of Royalties for Regions funding to the expansion and redevelopment of the hospital.
Recently, Paul was integral in the removal of the Port Expansion Project charge and the associated $67 million debt. The removal of the charge has provided much needed financial relief for our local grain growers and junior miners.
Paul is contesting the Lower House seat of Geraldton at the 2017 state election.
As a member of The Nationals WA team, Paul will ensure that Geraldton is a major focus for continued Royalties for Regions investment in projects that support both community and economic growth.
