Camp Schools in WA have been an integral, and very memorable, part of school life for many generations.
Using nature-based activities, they develop teamwork, life skills and significant educational outcomes that cannot be undertaken in a classroom or learnt by watching YouTube.
The six camp schools, including Bridgetown and Pemberton, are now facing closure or privatisation by a Labor government intent on diverting regional education funding into metropolitan projects.
Taking away affordable camp schools will not only disadvantage many schoolchildren, it will have huge ramifications for the local economy.
Please join us to protest the proposed closures and show your support for the camp schools!
