Vince fights hard on every issue that comes before the Parliament to get a fair share for the electorate of North West Central.

At 28 years of age, Vince was the youngest Member to be elected to represent the Mining and Pastoral Region in the Legislative Council in 2005. He made the shift to the Legislative Assembly in 2008 and was elected as the Member for North West.

In 2013, boundary changes saw the electorate renamed North West Central. Vince initially entered Parliament as a member of the Australian Labor Party before relinquishing his membership in September 2009 to join The Nationals WA. This change was as a direct result of the strength of Royalties for Regions and The Nationals WA position as an independent political party representing the best interests of regional people.

Vince is keen to ensure Royalties for Regions can continue delivering. In December 2013 he was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Water; Forestry and in late 2014 added Sport and Recreation to his secretarial role. He is an active member of North West communities and is involved with the Gascoyne Revitalisation Plan and Pilbara Cities intiative.
