The Nationals WA recognise that climate change significantly affects regional communities and support transitioning to a zero-carbon economy. If elected to Government in 2021, we will commit $100 million through Royalties for Regions over five years, with $55 million being allocated towards a Land and Sea Restoration Fund for carbon farming and management. We will also commit to continuing the Carbon for Conservation Initiative and provide $45 million in funding to natural resource management (NRM), coast care and land care groups.
