Community Resource Centres are incredibly important to regional WA. They are community hubs and sources of information, while providing opportunities for our more vulnerable members in the community.
If elected, The Nationals WA pledge to invest $91.5 million over five years into Community Resource Centres. This would include $14 million for annual operational funding, $600,000 each year for innovation and technology grants, $3 million for the Community Resource Centre Traineeship program and confirming funding for five years to each Community Resource Centre. We will also develop a framework and protocol in conjunction with the sector and we will provide $3.5 million for a two year trial for Community Support Liaison Officers.
