Under Labor, who are led by a former health Minister, our system has reached breaking point. Ambulance ramping is the worst in the country, families can’t get their children in to see specialists, and getting sick in a country town is scarier than ever.

The Nationals WA are committed to fixing the WA’s healthcare crisis, ensuring all Western Australians have access to quality healthcare, no matter where they live.

Our plan includes a $400 million Regional Healthcare Infrastructure Fund to upgrade hospitals and clinics, improve aged care services, and boost regional mental health support.

We will expand the Patient Assisted Travel Scheme (PATS), recruit and retain rural doctors and nurses, and ensure regional communities receive the specialist care they need, closer to home.

The Nationals WA will prioritise real investment in healthcare, because we know bolstering regional services alleviates the impossible pressure mounting on metropolitan services.

We will restore the ‘Your Voice in Health’ survey, because listening to our overstretched health workers about how to fix the system they prop up, seems like the natural place to start.

We must restore resilience into our health system, and prioritise spending where outcomes are at their worst.
