Local Member for Central Wheatbelt Mia Davies MLA has made the call for people to nominate a nurse that lives and works in the Central Wheatbelt electorate for a chance to win five tickets to the upcoming Northam Ladies Race Day.
She said it was a great opportunity to recognise the hard work of these critical health workers who have been under significant pressure in our State’s health system.
“I’m calling for people to nominate a nurse that would enjoy a day out at the races with their friends,” Ms Davies said.
“It’s my way of saying thank you to these hardworking individual’s and supporting an important local event in the electorate.
“I encourage the electorate to get behind a local nurse who would enjoy a fun day out at the races with their friends.”
Gannon’s Ladies Day is a big day on the Wheatbelt racing circuit and the event is always well attended.
