I’ve never wanted to be a politician. I’m a diesel mechanic by trade, and before this year, I’d never even been a member of a political party.
But I have always put my hand up when there was a job to be done. I put my hand up too when our local shooting club needed a President, and I answered the call to help lead the state-wide fight back against Labor’s harsh new firearm laws.
Now, with the State Government throttling our local businesses, locking down our weekend and allowing a social crisis to escalate to the point where people can’t feel safe in their own homes, I’m putting my hand up again.
We need a new direction and a stronger voice in Parliament. Let’s get it done.
