This election was a huge success for our Party. Working hard, working together, and showing WA a united force, we have not only held our position, but we have improved it.
Congratulations to the new Parliamentary National Party. The count continues, but the results already speak for themselves with The Nationals retaining our existing seats with improved margins and winning seats we haven’t held for decades. A large section of the Western Australian community has clearly put their trust in us to be their voice and “Make the Difference”.
We went to the election with 20 Legislative Assembly Candidates and 10 Legislative Council Candidates. We are grateful to every one of them for putting their name on the ballot paper to represent our Party, and then for rolling up their sleeves and getting on with the hard work of campaigning.
It is also very important to acknowledge the small team of people who sat behind our candidates and made the magic happen. You can be proud of your State Secretariat and Campaign Central team. They have given countless hours to making this campaign a historic success.
Let’s keep the celebrations rolling, we worked hard for it and we deserve to enjoy this moment.
