Describing himself as a farmer’s husband, Bristol-born Rob became part of the Northampton community when he joined his wife Jessica on her family’s pastoral enterprise. Launched into life on the land after growing up in Perth, Rob’s first-hand experience of both the challenges and rewards of rural living has given him a deep understanding of regional issues, balanced by a broad perspective.
Leading community response projects following the devastation of Tropical Cyclone Seroja ignited Rob’s passion for fostering proactive and empathetic leadership within volunteer organizations, paving his journey to managing the portfolios of Emergency Services and Volunteering.
With professional experience ranging from enhancing local infrastructure and services as Deputy President of the Shire of Northampton to facilitating good mental health and team cohesion as a presenter with EQ Minds, Rob brings a depth and diversity of skills to his position in the Legislative Council.
As a Member of The Nationals WA, Rob is committed to policies that support sustainable economic development across the state and foster equitable access to opportunities and services for all citizens of Western Australia, regardless of where they reside.
