The Nationals WA call upon the Albanese Labor Government to urgently establish a thorough and immediate Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) Inquiry into the pricing practices of supermarkets, particularly of fruit and vegetables in Western Australia, with an aim to: 1. Investigate the pricing disparity between cost to consumers and pay to farmers, with a focus on ensuring fairness and transparency in the supply chain. 2. Ensure any profit increase for fruit and vegetables at a supermarket level are equitably passed onto the primary producers.
