Heidi is a passionate advocate for rural and regional communities, having spent most of her life in regional Western Australia. She spent her childhood in the Mid-West and has resided in the South West of Western Australia for the last 30 years with her husband and children on their farm located just outside of Manjimup.
An experienced educator, having taught ages that range from 3-year-olds to adults, she is dedicated to ensuring that regional Western Australians are included in as many opportunities as their metro counterparts. Heidi is acutely aware of the pressure points of living outside of the Metro area and is fully committed to ensuring that regional voices are not forgotten or ignored.
Heidi has a proven track record of developing and implementing ideas and plans that benefit a number of people and groups. Her determined approach means that proposals are put into action so that the benefits are accessible and available for all, irrespective of where they live.
