Kieran Dart

Candidate for the Mining & Pastoral Region

Kieran and his family are based in Karratha, where he works as a mining and resources sector specialist with more than 20 years of civil engineering and project management experience. Prior to settling in Karratha, Kieran lived in Darwin, Asia, Africa, the UK, Bunbury and Kununurra, bringing a worldly view to opportunities that exist in the regions.

Having lived in the Pilbara for more than 15 years, he is involved in a wide range of community groups including Dampier Squash Club where he is current President, the Hampton Harbour Boat and Sailing Club and is a committee member of the Burrup Mountain Bike Club. He has previously held President and Vice President roles of the Baynton West Primary School P&C and was former chair of Engineers Australia Regional Group in Karratha.

Kieran has the passion and experience to champion regional development, particularly in the region that produces the bulk of the nation’s resources wealth.  He is committed to ensuring opportunities in local communities continue to be seized upon to improve social and economic outcomes for all.
