I’m Morgan Byas, your Nationals WA candidate for Darling Range. Our community is wonderfully diverse, and my family has proudly called it home for nearly 50 years. The Byas family witnessed Darling Range transform from a purely rural farming and equine district into a rapidly urbanising hub. Now, as my wife and I raise our young family here, our community face new challenges that come with being an outer metropolitan hyper-growth area, trying to balance rapid urbanisation with our long-standing agricultural and equine roots.
Throughout my career as a psychologist, educator, and local government councillor, one thing has always remained constant: my unwavering commitment to ensuring that our Darling Range community is supported and properly represented.
Unfortunately, that’s not happening under this Labor government.
The Cook Labor government has mismanaged our great state, leaving hardworking families across Western Australia and Darling Range to bear the brunt of a spiralling cost-of-living crisis. Our schools, healthcare system, and infrastructure have been neglected and are in dire need of attention. Now more than ever, we need common sense in parliament.
