Residents from across regional WA can now see the Royalties for Regions projects transforming their communities, thanks to the launch of an online mapping application.
Member for Moore Shane Love MLA said the interactive online map, powered by Landgate, displays information about the 4,700 locations Royalties for Regions projects being delivered across regional WA.
“This interactive map affords regional communities the opportunity to see planned or completed projects in their area which are being delivered through Royalties for Regions,” Mr Love said.
“Royalties for Regions is transforming regional communities, and underpins the State Government’s long-term commitment to regional development, with more than $6.9 billion invested across the state since 2008.
“Royalties for Regions continues to build more vibrant and sustainable regional communities through investment into infrastructure, health, communications and tourism.”
Mr Love encouraged Moore residents to utilise the new-cutting edge technology.
“The RfR Investment Map provides Western Australians with the opportunity to see the difference Royalties for Regions is making to our region and the state,” Mr Love said.
The information is delivered through the State Government’s unique Shared Location Information Platform (SLIP), which underpins the WA Whole-of-Government Open Data Policy.
