Thirty five groups across Moore will benefit from funds awarded under the inaugural Shane Love’s Moore Community Grant round. Applications came from all corners of the electorate and Mr Love said he’d been overwhelmed by the number of applications.
“Unfortunately I could not fund them all, but the quality of the applications was a sure sign of the fantastic work that supports and enriches the lives of Moore residents,” Mr Love said.
“2020 has been an extraordinary year and I am pleased to be able to recognise the hardworking volunteer and not-for-profit organisations that make such a difference in our community.”
Funds will be awarded to sporting, historical, arts and cultural groups, progress associations, playgroups, groups of seniors and school communities.
